Skill: Know Your Web Browser

Particulars: In addition to accessing sites you need for classes, such as the Blackboard course management system and the library's on-line catalog, Tripod, you should be able to do searches, set your own home page, and create your own bookmarks and favorites.

Why this is important: Rather than clicking through 14 links or typing a three mile long URL every time you need to find your instructor's web site, you can just highlight a bookmark or favorite, or even just click on the home button.
