Recommended Email Schemes

| You have one main computer, but you also like to have all your email available when you use other computers. | Use Eudora on your main computer and Webmail elsewhere. In order to use Webmail effectively in conjunction with Eudora, you must configure Eudora to leave the mail on the server for five days. This way any email you have received in the past five days will be available to you through Webmail. See Email for Users with Multiple Computers for instructions to set this up. If you would also like to use unixmail in conjunction with Webmail see the Elm and Pine Changes document. |
| You have one computer that you use almost exclusively. | Use Eudora on your main computer. If you check email elsewhere, use Webmail. Only your new messages will be available to Webmail. If Eudora is open simultaneously on your main computer, you will probably not be able to read any messages with Webmail. |
| You do not have your own computer, but you use public computers and other computers available to you to check your email. | Use Webmail for all your emailing needs. You should take full advantage of Webmail's folders and filtering capabilities to minimize the size of your inbox and your access times. |
