Reading Your Email in Webmail

This is what a message looks like when opened in Webmail. In the blue border, there are tools to navigate between messages. At the top and bottom of the message are buttons to act on the email, and in the light blue area you have information about the email.

To Reply to, forward, or delete a message, click the appropriate button. If you would like to save the message to a folder, select the folder from the dropdown box and click Save in:. To print a message, click the Printer-Friendly Version link. Do not use the browser's print button. The printer friendly version opens a new browser window, and will print the message without all the extra menus, headers, or graphics that you see normally. It will save both toner and paper if you use the printer-friendly version.

To view or download an attachment, click on the name of the attachment in the message information area. If the document is text or a picture it will display the attachment and give you the option to download it. Otherwise, you will just get the option to download the attachment.

If you delete a message from this screen, the browser will take you back to the inbox or the folder in which the message was stored. If you would rather jump to the next message, either select it from the dropdown menu or click Next Message >. When you are finished reading, you can delete groups of messages from the inbox or folder by selecting them and clicking Delete Selected.
