Computer Support Services

The Computing Center at Haverford provides assistance with campus computing and network related problems. You can get help in the following ways:

  • Help Desk: Help Desk is available to assist all Haverford faculty, staff and students with computing related problems and questions.
    • Phone: 610-896-1480
    • Location: Stokes Hall, room 204.
    • Hours: Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, and Friday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM during the academic year. During summer, intersession, and breaks, the help desk is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
    • Email: helpdesk@haverford.edu
    • Help Desk also handles problems that have been escalated by the Residential Computing Consultants from the dorms. Students who wish to have an RCC contact them should fill out the HELPME form as explained below.

  • RCC: Haverford has Residential Computing Consultants (RCCs) living in each of the main dorms on campus. RCCs are available to help students resolve computing problems in the dorms, provided that these problems fall within ACC's Dorm Support Policy. The RCCs are responsible for specific areas and are available by appointment only. To get help from your RCC, fill out the HELPME form and your RCC will get back to you as soon as possible. You must use this form so that we can properly record, route and track your request. Please be considerate of your RCC and only contact them through this established channel. They are also students and are not employed full time. After hours requests or repeated unreasonable requests will not be honored. To find out which RCC has been assigned to your dorm, see the RCC Contact List.
