Dial-in Instructions
|
To access our dial-in system you need either a Pentium PC running Windows 98 or XP Pro, or a Macintosh with System 8.5 or later. In addition, you need a modem which will work with your system. Haverford's modem pool and terminal server allow you to connect at a maximum speed of 56 kbps. Any modem compatible with your system should work. We do not support dial-up accounts for any other operating systems (i.e. OS/2, Linux, Windows NT, Windows 3.1, Macintosh System running an OS less than 8.5). While you are free to apply and obtain an account for these systems, ACC does not provide technical support for them, nor do we guarantee that they will work. Instruction Guides
Note: Macintoshes running system 7.x are no longer supported for dial-in. However, if you wish to configure a system 7.x Macintosh you may obtain Linkuppp! from ACC and follow the Linkuppp! instructions. Although we will provide the software and instructions, we no longer provide help if your system does not work. |
