FileMaker Versions at HaverfordOur FileMaker license allows Haverford faculty, staff, and students on campus to download and use FileMaker database version 8.0. We recommend that anyone using an older version of FileMaker upgrade to version 8.0. However, if you share FileMaker databases with others, you should direct those with whom you share databases to upgrade their local FileMaker software too. Once you open a database in version 8.0, it will no longer work with older FileMaker versions. Our site license does not permit us to distribute version written after FileMaker 8.0. To learn more about newer versions of FileMaker and their cost, contact your liaison for pricing. You will find additional information on the FileMaker web site. |
