Limiting Access to Web PagesBy default, files posted to www can be viewed by anyone who can browse the web. Files in wwwinternal volume however, can be viewed only from computers on the Haverford, Bryn Mawr, or Swarthmore campuses (or those on the network via remote access, such as dial-up or VPN). As explained in the section on Determining your URL, files in www are viewable on www.haverford.edu; those on wwwinternal are viewable on www.haverford.edu:8080. However, the location of your files is only one way to limit access to web pages.
