Accessing webpublish.haverford.edu Using Fetch (Mac OS X)

The Macintosh application Fetch can be used to publish pages on the college web server. The application allows you to drag-and-drop your pages and files onto your college web space. It is available on the ACC software download page.

Set-up Fetch:

1. Open Fetch by double-clicking on the icon.
2. The New Connection window will open.
3. Next to Host, enter webpublish.haverford.edu
4. In the space next to User ID: and Password: insert your Haverford email username and email password. If you did not change your password after September 2003, you will need to change your password in order to gain access to the webpublish server. For security, make sure the Add to Keychain box is NOT checked.
   
   
   
   
   
5. Select either www for college web pages or wwwinternal for restricted internal pages.
   
   
   
   
   
6. You can add files to the server by dragging and dropping them into the window, or by choosing Put Files.
7. To save the connection for later use, select Save Shortcut from the File menu. To open the connection again later, choose it from the Open Shortcut dialogue in the File menu.
