Athletic Training
Haverford's certified athletic trainers work with the college’s 23 varsity teams in order to ensure the health and safety of all student-athletes.
In addition, the athletic training staff collaborates with the college's Office of Health Services, local orthopedic doctors - who visit campus regularly in order to offer their assistance - and the surrounding hospitals, two of which are within five minutes of campus.
Practices and games are monitored and supported by the athletic training staff, and nearly all assessment and treatment/rehabilitation of injuries take place on campus.
The athletic training staff is supported by a staff of trained and experienced student-workers who assist with practice and event preperation/operation and provide first aid to injured Haverford student-athletes.
