Curt Mauger is only Haverford’s seventh head athletic trainer in 80 years, as far as we can tell, in a distinguished list which includes (Doc) Leake Ragland, Dick Morsch, Mike Therriault, Lesley Rogan, Lisa Peoples, and Dan Evans.
Mauger is a 1998 graduate of West Chester University, where he spent 2002-2003 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer after having earned a Master’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He also was Head Athletic Trainer at Greensboro College, a Division III institution in N.C. His past experience also includes teaching courses at West Chester, Greensboro, and Chapel Hill.
Melissa Cruice, ATC

Melissa Cruice is putting the finishing touches on her Master’s Degree in Exercise Science at the University of Delaware with a concentration in biomechanics.
She won the award as the outstanding senior student athletic trainer at Delaware as an undergraduate there in in 1999. Melissa served two years as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Delaware State University, was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer and Clinical Instructor back at her alma mater, U. of Delaware, and has worked in a wide variety of camps and clinics.
