The end result of computer literacy is not knowing how to operate computers, but to use technology as a tool for organization, communication, research, and problem solving.

Hi! I'm the Applications Support Specialist for Haverford College's Administrative Computing Department. That means I do software training for faculty and staff, respond to user support needs, write documentation, design and maintain a few websites, and various other things as well. At the moment I'm on the committee that's overseeing the redesign of the Haverford College website: I hope you like what you see so far!
Out of the office, I coach a homeschool, high school speech and debate team of about 20 students in my hometown of Morgantown, Pennsylvania. I have traveled with "my kids" to numerous competitions throughout the country, and several of them are qualified for the National Tournament in Texas in June. In addition, I work with my family to promote speech and debate for homeschooled students by holding workshops and seminars throughout Pennsylvania and the New England states.
